Ingredients
6 thin slices white bread
2 oz butter
3 oz mixed sultanas, currants, seedless raisins
2 oz caster sugar
2 eggs
1 pint milk
Directions
Butter bread, remove crusts and cut into neat fingers.
Line a greased pie dish with some of them.
Sprinkle in half the fruit and put another layer of bread and butter.
Beat eggs well with the milk and sugar Pour almost all into the dish.
