Braunschweiger Glazed Recipe
Ingredients
| Unflavored gelatin | 1 | |
| Cold water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Condensed consomme - 1 10 1/2 ounce can | ||
| Braunschweiger | 1/2 pound | |
| Mayonnaise or salad dressing - 3 tablespoons | ||
| Vinegar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 Tablespoon, minced | |
Directions
MAKING
1.Mix gelatin in cold water and consomme and stir until gelatine softens.
2.Heat the mixture until the gelatin dissolves.
3.Keep stirring.
4.Combine braunschweiger, mayonnaise, vinegar, onion and blend well.
5.Hollow the consommed form the center and leave 1/2 inch shell.
6.Fill the hollow with meat mixture.
7.Heat the consoome extracted from center and once it melts pour it over meat.
8.Refrigerate until firm.
9.Unmold.
SERVING
10.Serve in a dish.
