Brandy-Custard Sauce Recipe
This is how I show my love to my near and dear ones, yes by preparing their favorite Brandy-custard Sauce using this recipe. This Brandy-custard Sauce is never going to fail as a Side Dish. In my view, to call yourself a chef, you need to have a personal recipe of Brandy-custard Sauce, just like I do.
Ingredients
1 egg, separated
Dash of salt
1 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped
3 tbsp. Brandy
Directions
Beat egg white with salt until foamy.
Add 1/2 cup sugar gradually, beating well after each addition.
Beat just until egg whites form soft peaks.
Beat egg yolk until thick; add remaining sugar gradually, beating until thick and lemony.
Fold egg yolk into egg white; add whipped cream and brandy.
Blend lightly.
