Ingredients

 Pears12
 Light brown sugar1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar
 Cinnamon1 Teaspoon
 Nutmeg1/2 Teaspoon
 Brandy
 Butter stick2
 Egg yolk1

Directions

Remove skin from pears, leaving stems attached.
Combine brown sugar, 2 tablespoons sugar, cinna- mon and nutmeg; mix well.
Roll pears in mixture.
Place in large casserole; pour 1 tablespoon brandy over each pear.
Bake in 350-degree oven for 20 min- utes or until pears are tender.
Cover pears, if neces- sary.
Cream butter till fluffy; add 1 cup sugar slowly, beating constantly.
Beat in egg yolk; pour in 4 table- spoons brandy slowly.
Serve over pears.
