Brandied Peach Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
1 package (10 or 12 ounce) frozen sliced peaches, defrosted
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Dash of salt
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
2 tablespoons apricot brandy, optional
Directions
Drain peaches, save syrup.
Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt in metal fondue pot; mix.
Stir in peach syrup and water.
Place on stand over direct high heat and cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens and clears.
Stir in butter or margarine.
Fold in peach slices and heat.
Fold in brandy, if used.
Serve hot on pancakes, waffles, cake slices, or ice cream.
