Brandied Hard Sauce Recipe

Brandied Hard Sauce adds an intoxicating flavor to desserts like the plum pudding. The Brandied Hard Sauce is easy to make and is often the reason behind the success of my Plum pudding!

Ingredients

 
1/2 cup butter
 
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
 
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
 
1 tablespoon brandy
 
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
 
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

Cream the butter.
Gradually add the confectioners' sugar.
Beat well.
Add the vanilla, almond extract, brandy, and nutmeg.
Beat well.
Chill thoroughly.
