Brandied Fruit Recipe
Ingredients
| Cherries - 1 large can, big, pitted | ||
| Apricot large can | 1 | |
| Freestone peach halves - 1 large can | ||
| Lemon | 1 | |
| Orange | 1 | |
| Brown sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Brandy | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 300° F .
MAKING
2) Drain the cherries and apricot halves, reserve the juice.
3) In a Pyrex baking dish, place all the fruits with the grated rinds and reserved juices.
4) Sprinkle the fruit mixture evenly with the brown sugar.
5) Place in the preheated oven, until thoroughly heated and the sugar is melted.
6) Remove from the oven and drizzle over the brandy.
SERVING
Serve the Brandied fruit, hot or cold on ice cream or pound cake or with a side dish of sour cream.
