Directions

Combine shortening, 1 cup boiling water, sugar, bran cereal and salt; cool.
Dissolve yeast in 1 cup luke- warm water; add to bran mixture.
Stir in eggs; fold in flour.
Roll out half the mixture at a time to 1/2- inch thick circle.
Cut into pie-shaped wedges; brush with margarine.
Roll up, starting at wide end.
Place on baking sheet; let rise for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Bake in 450-degree oven until golden brown.
Unused dough may be stored in refrigerator.
