Pour boiling water over; let stand until cool.
Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs; beat until smooth.
Combine Sourdough Starter and date mixture.
Combine flours, wheat bran, and wheat germ.
Add dates and flour mixture alternately to creamed mixture; mix well after each addition.
Fold in nuts.
Pour batter into well-greased and floured small loaf pans.
Bake at 375 Â°F 10 minutes.
Lower temperature to 350Â°F; bake 50 minutes or until done.
Remove bread from oven.
Let stand 10 minutes before removing from pans.
