In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
In another bowl combine cereal and milk.
Stir well and let stand for 1 to 2 minutes or until the cereal has softened.
Add the egg and oil to this cereal mixture and beat well.
Pour into the flour mixture and stir just until moistened.
Spoon batter evenly into prepared muffin tin.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
