Bran Muffins for Two Recipe
Ingredients
| Wheat Bran Cereal - 1/2 cup, shreds of cereal | ||
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Shortening | 2 Tablespoon, melted | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Into a bowl mix together the cereal and milk
2) Allow to stand for about 2 minutes
3) Mix in the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar and keep aside
4) Add the shortening to the cereal mixture and mix well
5) Tip in the flour mixture into the cereal
6) Grease 4 muffin cups
7) Spoon the mixture into the muffin cups evenly
8) Bake in a preheated oven at 400 F for 20 minutes
SERVING
9) Serve the muffins warm
