Bran Muffins Recipe
Ingredients
| White flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Bran | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornmeal | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Skimmed milk | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Molasses | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon, dissolved in water | ||
| Raisins | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Mix in the flour, bran, cornmeal, milk, molasses, baking soda and the raisins together till well combined
2) Spoon the batter into paper liners or into a greased muffin tray
3) Bake the muffins at 325 F for about 25 minutes
SERVING
4) Serve the muffins once slightly cool for tea or better with a glass of milk
