 All bran cereal - 1 cup
 Graham cracker crumbs1 Cup (16 tbs)
 All purpose flour1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Whole wheat or white flour - 2 tablespoons
 Packed brown sugar1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Wheat germ1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Baking soda1 Teaspoon
 Salt1/4 Teaspoon
 Raisins - 1/2 cup, coarsley cut
 Egg1
 Cooking oil1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Molasses1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Buttermilk3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Vanilla1/2 Teaspoon

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Grease muffin tins.

MAKING
2) In a bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
3) Add raisins.
4) In another bowl beat egg until frothy.
5) Add oil, molasses, buttermilk and vanilla.
6) Beat to mix till smooth.
7) Pour the egg mixture over dry ingredients.
8) Stir just enough to moisten.
9) Into greased muffin tins, spoon the mixture filling 3/4 full.
10) Bake muffins at 375°F (190°C) in oven for 20 minute.
11) Let the muffins cool for 5 minutes.
12) Remove them from the tins.

SERVING
13) Serve the warm muffins with tea or coffee.
