2 lb. leg. of mutton
1 tsp. salt
5 oz. mixed vegetables
3 oz. onions
6 cloves of garlic
3 oz. lard
Pinch of pepper
Pinch of thyme
1 bay leaf
2 oz. tomato puree
1 dessert spoon sugar
2 oz. flour
1 gill white wine
Directions
Remove bones, then with a sharp knife make 10 narrow slits in the leg of mutton, and push a piece of garlic into each slit.
