Braised Celery Recipe
Ingredients
1 bunch celery
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 chicken bouillon cube dissolved in 1 cup boiling water
1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
Directions
Remove green leaves from celery; cut stalks into 4-inch lengths.
Arrange stalks in bottom of small pan or heatproof casserole; season with salt and pepper.
Dot with butter; pour bouillon over celery.
Bring liquid to boil; cover.
Simmer 30 minutes or until celery is tender.
Place on heated serving dish; sprinkle with parsley.
