Ingredients

 Onion1 Medium, sliced
 Chopped fresh ginger/One half teaspoon powdered ginger2 Teaspoon
 Vegetable oil2 Tablespoon
 Flowerets2 Small, cut into flowerets
 Turmeric1 Tablespoon
 Cumin2 Teaspoon
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Freshly ground black pepper1⁄2 Teaspoon
 Mustard seed1 Tablespoon
 Water1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

Directions

Saute the onion and ginger in the oil.
Stir in the remaining ingredients, cover and cook until the cauliflower is tender, about ten minutes, adding a little water if necessary to prevent burning.
