Soy Braised Broccoli Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 bunch broccoli
 
3 tablespoons oil
 
2 chopped scallions
 
2 tablespoons soy sauce
 
1 tablespoon gin or cognac
 
1 teaspoon sugar
 
1/4 teaspoon Ac'cent
 
1/4 cup boiling water

Directions

Remove the tough ends of the broccoli.
Cut broccoli into 1-inch thick slices lengthwise.
Heat the oil in a skillet; saute the scallions and broccoli 5 minutes.
Mix the soy sauce, gin, sugar, Ac'cent, and water.
Pour over the broccoli.
Cover and cook over low heat 5 minutes.
