Braised Brains Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 lamb's brains, precooked | ||
| 1/2 cup milk, hot | ||
| Whole wheat flour | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1 | |
Directions
Cut brains in half, lengthwise.
Dredge in flour.
Heat oil.
Saute brains and set aside.
Gradually add remaining ingredients to pan and blend thoroughly.
Continue to cook, stirring until thickened.
Return brains to pan, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
