Braised Spiced Liver Recipe
Ingredients
| Chicken livers | 450 Gram | |
| Onion | 1 Large (For the rempah:) | |
| Garlic | 3 Clove (5gm) (For the rempah:) | |
| Fresh green ginger - 2 cm | ||
| Chillis | 2 (For the rempah:) | |
| Coriander | 1 1/4 Teaspoon (For the rempah:) | |
| Cumin | 1 Teaspoon (For the rempah:) | |
| Turmeric | 2 Teaspoon (For the rempah:) | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a skillet heat 3 tbsp oil. Fry rempah until fragrant.
2) Add chicken liver slices and seal on all sides.
3) Add 2 cups water and enough soya sauce to taste.
4) Cover the pan and simmer for about 7 minutes.
5) Cook until the liver is firm. Do not overcook, it should be pink but not tough.
SERVING
6) Garnish with chilli and coriander leaves.
7) Serve immediately with plain rice or simple vegetables.
