Braised Roast Venison Recipe
Ingredients
1 4 lb roast venison
1 bay leaf
1 clove
1 cup chicken broth, heated
1 cup beef broth, heated
1 cup onion soup, heated
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
In an ovenproof cooking pot, place venison.
Add bay leaf, clove, both broths and onion soup.
Cover.
Braise in oven 2 hours or so.
Approximately 30 minutes before the end of cooking, remove lid.
Cook until brown.
