Braised Pork Chops With Cabbage & Apple Recipe
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground black pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Pork chops||4 (1 Inch Thick, From Loin Or Rib)|
|Olive oil/Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Savory cabbage/Green cabbage||1 1⁄2 Pound, sliced|
|Onion soup mix||2 Ounce (1 Envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Apple juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Green tart apple/Red tart apple||1 Medium, cored and coarsely chopped|

Combine flour, salt and pepper; dip pork chops in flour mixture.
In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and brown chops.
Remove chops to 13x9-inch casserole or baking dish; reserve drippings.
In reserved drippings, cook cabbage with bay leaf over medium heat, stirring frequently, 5 minutes.
Stir in onion soup mix blended with water and apple juice; bring to a boil over high heat.
Stir in apple; pour over pork chops.
Cover and bake 1 hour or until chops are done.
