Green Beans-1 pound or Frozen- 1 package, thawed
Lard or Oil- 3 tablespoons
Bamboo Shoots- 1 cup, sliced
Salt- 1 teaspoon
Sugar- 1/2 teaspoon
Water- 3/4 cup
Directions
GETTING READY
1) If fresh beans are used, break it in 2 inch pieces.
MAKING
2) In a saucepan, heat lard or oil and sauté the beans,
3) Simmer and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly,
4) Add the bamboo shoots, salt, sugar and water.
5) Simmer for 10 minutes more.
6) If there any water left drain it.
SERVING.
