Braga Cornflowers Recipe
This Braga Cornflowers makes a good Dessert for most meals. I prefer to make Braga Cornflowers as a Dessert for all my family get-togethers. You will be tempted to prepare this Braga Cornflowers recipe again.
Ingredients
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup honey
2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup unbleached white flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Directions
In a medium-size bowl, cream butter.
Beat in honey, lemon rind, and vanilla.
Blend in whole wheat flour, unbleached white flour, and baking powder.
Spoon dough onto a sheet of wax paper, and chill until it can be molded.
Form dough into a log about 7 inches long.
Pat into a square rather than a round shape.
Chill until quite firm.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Slice dough into Ms-inch slices.
Place 1/2 inch apart on ungreased baking sheets, and bake for 10 minutes, or until golden on bottom.
Tops will be pale.
Cool on wire racks.
