Ingredients

Streusel Topping:

2 tablespoons soft butter or margarine

2 tablespoons light-brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/3 cup unsifted all-purpose flour

1/3 Sweet-Roll Dough,

1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted

Bottled cinnamon sugar

Confectioners' sugar

Directions

Make Streusel Topping: Combine butter with sugar, cinnamon, and flour; mix well.
Set aside un- til ready to use.
Lightly grease a large cookie sheet.
On lightly floured pastry cloth, roll dough to a rectangle 20 by 10 inches.
Spread surface with half of melted butter; then sprinkle generously with cin- namon sugar.
Fold over dough in half, from long side, to form a rectangle 20 by 5 inches.
Cut crosswise into 2-1/2-inch strips, making 8 (5-by-2-l/2-inch) strips.
(See diagram.) Place strips on prepared cookie sheet, making a twist in center of each, to give a bow effect.
Brush tops with rest of melted butter.
Sprinkle with Streusel Topping; cover loosely with a sheet of waxed paper.
Let rise in warm place (85F), free from drafts, until double in bulk—about 45 minutes.
Mean- while, preheat oven to 350F.
Bake 15 minutes, or until golden-brown.
Remove to wire rack; let cool slightly.
Sprinkle with confec- tioners' sugar.
Serve while still warm.
Makes 8.
