Bow Tie Noodles With Meat Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground beef | 3/4 pound | |
| 1/4 pound bulk pork sausage | ||
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Celery | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Tomatoes | 2 1 pound | |
| Tomato Paste | 2 6 Ounce | |
| Parmesan cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), shredded | |
| Parsley flakes | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Oregano | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Monosodium glutamate | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Farfalle | 6 Ounce, cooked, drained | |
Directions
Lightly brown ground beef and sausage.
Add onion, celery, and garlic; cook till tender but not brown.
Pour off excess fat.
Add tomatoes and tomato paste, Parmesan cheese, parsley flakes, and seasonings.
Cover; simmer about 1 1/2 hours.
Serve over hot noodles, saving some "bow ties" for border and center trim; sprinkle with shredded Parmesan cheese.
