Ingredients

 
Carrot – 1 medium, sliced
 
Onions – 2 mediums, sliced
 
Garlic – 1, clove
 
Butter or Margarine – 4 tablespoons
 
Fish – 2 pounds, cooked and flaked (cod, whiting, haddock, or halibut)
 
Tomatoes – 1 cup
 
Bay Leaf – 1
 
Fish Stock or Water – 2 cups
 
Doren Oysters, Clams or Scallops – 1
 
Shrimp or Crab – 1 cup
 
Salt – 2 teaspoons
 
Lemon Juice – 2 tablespoons
 
Cooking Sherry – ¼ cup

Directions

MAKING
1) In a large saucepan, melt some butter
2) Tip in the onion, garlic, carrot and sauté till the onion becomes golden brown
3) Remove the garlic
4) Add in the fish, tomatoes, bay leaf, and the stock
5) Then add in the shrimp or crab, salt, lemon juice, and doren oysters, clam or scallops
6) Simmer for about 15 minutes
7) Cook for another 5 minutes
8) Add the sherry and take the saucepan off the heat immediately

SERVING
9) Serve the dish immediately
