Bottle Gourd Sabji In Milk Recipe
Ingredients
| Bottle gourd | 500 Gram | |
| Milk | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cinnamon pieces | 3 | |
| Cloves, 2 or 3 | ||
| Cumin seeds | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper corns, 10 to 12 | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Green chillies, cut into big pieces, 4 | ||
| Ghee | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Peel bottle gourd and cut into small cubes.
Keep them in salted water to avoid discolouring.
Heat ghee in a pan and fry cumin seeds, cinnamon, cloves and pepper corns.
When cumin seeds turn brown, add bottle gourd cubes.
Stir for two minutes.
Add green chillies and one cup water.
Cover and let cook till they are partially cooked.
Uncover; add milk and cook on low fire till they are tender.
Add sugar, salt and pepper before serving.
