Easy Borsch Recipe
Ingredients
| Water | 1 Quart | |
| Shredded cabbage | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion flakes | 1 Tablespoon, dehydrated | |
| 5 envelopes instant beef and/or chicken broth and seasoning mix | ||
| Beets | 8 Ounce, shredded | |
| 2 medium tomatoes, cut up | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Artificial sweetener to equal 2 teaspoons sugar | ||
Directions
In large kettle combine water, cabbage, onion flakes and broth mix.
Bring to boil, simmer and cook 30 minutes.
Add beets with liquid from can, tomatoes and lemon juice; cook 15 minutes longer.
