Directions

Make a batter using one measure of besan (chick pea flour) in one measure of water and thoroughly beat out any lumps.
Medium-high heat the pan.
Add cooking oil to the pan.
Deep fry it using the special sieve into hot oil till golden brown and the frothing in the oil stops.
Remove using a sieve and collect in a container.
Add a small quantity of salt and red chili powder to taste, and enjoy!
