Boneless Chicken With Caramelized Onions Recipe
Ingredients
| Olive oil | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 onions, peeled and sliced | ||
| Boneless chicken breasts | 4 | |
| Teriyaki sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Gruyere cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1 | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
? Heat half of oil in frying pan over medium heat. Add onions and cook 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season during cooking. Onions should become golden brown. Remove onions from pan and set aside.
? Heat remaining oil in same pan. Add chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook 5 minutes on each side over medium heat.
? Add teriyaki sauce and lemon juice. Cook 1 minute.
? Transfer chicken breasts to ovenproof baking dish and top with onions. Sprinkle with cheese.
? Broil 3 minutes in oven.
