Bombay Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
2 pounds chicken parts
2 tablespoons shortening
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 medium clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon curry powder
1/4 teaspoon thyme, crushed
Toasted slivered almonds, flaked coconut, chutney, sliced green onions, and raisins
Directions
In skillet, brown chicken in shortening; pour off fat.
Add soup, water, onion, garlic, curry, and thyme.
Cover; cook over low heat 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.
Stir now and then.
