Bombay Banana Salad Recipe
This Bombay banana salad was as good as the similar banana sandwich I served at dinner. And there was literally none who did not like this Bombay banana salad of mine. Your family will love you!
Ingredients
| 2 DOLE® Oranges | ||
| 2 firm DOLE® Bananas, peeled and sliced | ||
| 1 cup seedless red DOLE® Grapes | ||
| 1/4 cup DOLE® Whole Almonds, toasted | ||
| 1 ripe DOLE® Banana, peeled | ||
| 12 DOLE® Pitted Dates, halved | ||
| Dairy sour cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Dressing) | |
| 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar or honey | ||
| Chutney | 1 Tablespoon, chopped (Dressing) | |
| Curry powder | 1/2 Teaspoon (Dressing) | |
Directions
Grate peel from 1 orange; reserve peel for dressing.
Peel and slice oranges.
In bowl, toss salad ingredients with Dressing.
For Dressing, place all Dressing ingredients in blender container or food processor.
Process until smooth.
Stir in reserved grated orange peel.
