Bolognese Sauce Recipe

My pasta tastes mindblowing with this Bolognese Sauce. Serve this Bolognese sauce out to your family in place of your regular pasta sauce and tell me if they liked it !

Ingredients

 
3 slices bacon
 
1/2 pound chicken livers
 
2 onions, chopped
 
1 carrot, chopped
 
1 stalk celery, chopped
 
1 pound extra lean ground beef or veal
 
1 6-ounce can tomato paste
 
1 1/2 cups dry white wine
 
1 1/2 cups beef stock or bouillon
 
1 teaspoon oregano
 
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
 
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
 
Salt to taste

Directions

Brown the bacon and remove it from skillet.
Lightly brown the chicken livers in the bacon fat.
Remove and chop them; chop cooked bacon.
Place both in slow cooker.
Add onions, carrot, and celery to skillet.
Cook for about 3 minutes, until soft.
Place in the slow cooker.
Brown beef in skillet; drain and place in slow cooker.
Add remaining ingredients to slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low about for 3 to 4 hours to blend flavors.
Serve sauce over hot, well drained pasta.
Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese.
