Boiled Shrimp Recipe
This boiled shrimp recipe is a simple yet flavorful recipe prepared with fresh shrimps. Cooked in water with bay leaves, onions, celery leaves and lemon for flavor, the boiled is quite saviry too. Served as a side with garlic butter as garnish with rice, this boiled shrimp recipe is homely and satisfying.
Ingredients
| Water | 2 Quart | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Hot Sauce | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Peppercorns | 10 | |
| Lemon | 1/2 , sliced | |
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Bay leaves | 2 | |
| Onion | 1 Small, halved | |
| 1 piece of celery with leaves | ||
| Medium shrimp | 3 Pound | |
Directions
Bring water to boil in kettle.
Add all ingrediei except shrimp; boil 10 minutes.
Add shrimp; bring to slow boil.
Cook, stirring occasionally, 5 min utes; remove from heat.
Cover; let stand 15 min utes.
Drain in colander; cool.
Peel; devein.
Use in recipes as instructed when boiled shrimp are needed.
