Boiled Frosting Recipe
Boiled frosting is a cooked sugar frosting. Flavored with vanilla, the boiled frosting is a stiff frosting and can be used on cakes or rolls or even sweet baked buns or breads.

Directions
MAKING
1.In a pot, Cook the sugar and water together, stirring until the sugar has dissolved
2.Make sure to cook without stirring
3.For one egg white, cook to 238° F, for two egg whites, cook to 244° F, and for three egg whites, cook to 254° F
4.Remove from the fire and allow it to cool while you are beating the egg white stiff
5.Then pour the syrup in a thin stream over the stiff white, beating the mixture constantly until thick enough to spread
6.Last, add vanilla
