Boiled Beef And Vegetable Dinner Recipe
Ingredients
3 pounds short ribs of beef
2 green bananas
1 green pepper, sliced
2 tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup chopped parsley
3 quarts water
2 stalks celery, diced
3 garlic cloves
1 can (1 pound) whole kernel corn
1 tablespoon salt
2 onions, sliced
1 turnip, pared and diced
1 pound cabbage, shredded
1 small eggplant, peeled and diced
1/2 pound carrots, pared and sliced
1/2 pound potatoes, pared & diced
1/2 pound green beans
Directions
Place beef and tomatoes in water in deep kettle.
Add garlic, salt, and onions, bring to a boil.
Cover.
Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
Remove garlic and discard; add remaining ingredients, simmer for 2 hours longer.
