Ingredients

 24 fresh okras
 Butter2 Ounce
 2 tablesp. cream or milk
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Wash the okras in cold water, drain them well and trim both ends.
Place in barely enough salted water to cover, cook gently for 15 min., or until tender, and drain well.
Heat the butter and cream in the saucepan, put in the okras, sprinkle with salt and pepper, shake over heat for a few minutes, then serve.
