Boiled Lamb With Dill Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 to 2 1/2 pounds breast or shoulder of lamb | ||
| 3 or 4 white peppercorns | ||
| Bay Leaf | 1 | |
| 1 tablespoon dill sprigs, chopped, or 1/2 teaspoon dill seeds | ||
Directions
Rinse meat quickly with hot water.
Place in kettle.
Cover with boiling salted water.
Bring to boil.
Skim.
Add bay leaf, dill, salt and pepper.
Cover.
Simmer 1/2 hours until tender.
Cut in pieces.
Garnish with fresh dill.
Serve with dill sauce and boiled potatoes.
