Boiled Couscous Semolina Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 quart beef or chicken broth or water | ||
| Couscous | 2 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a large heavy saucepan, rapidly boil the broth, then gradually mix in the couscous, stirring briskly.
2) Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes, then lightly stir in the butter and salt.
3) Turn off the heat, cover and allow to stand for 10-15 minutes until dry.
SERVING
4) Gently fluff with a fork and immediately serve with the gravy.
