Blueberry Slump Recipe
Devour this very delicious and easy to prepare Blueberry Slump- a treat for those with a sweet tooth. Pretty good enough to be served as a sweet dessert for festivals and occasions!
Ingredients
| Frozen blueberries | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| All purpose flour | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Light cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
In a skillet, combine blueberries, water, sugar and lemon juice.
Simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until berries are soft.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir in cream lightly to form a soft dough.
Drop by tablespoonfuls into simmering blueberries.
Cover very tightly and cook 15 minutes or until dumplings are puffed and cooked through.
These dumplings tend to be heavy, so it is best to serve slump warm.
