Homemade Blueberry Muffins Recipe
These blueberry muffins are easy to prepare and delicious. Made with a batter of eggs, sugar, sour milk and blueberries, along with baking agents, this bluberry muffin is baked to a light brown crust and can be served as snacks.
Ingredients
| Brown sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Shortening | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sour milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Salt | 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sifted | |
| Baking soda | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Blueberries | 1 Pint |
Directions
Cream sugar and shortening.
Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time.
Alternately add sour milk (with baking soda dissolved in it) and remaining dry ingredients except 1/2 cup of the flour.
Save the 1/2 cup of flour and mix with the berries.
Fold this into the batter last.
Bake in muffin tins in a 325° to 350° oven approximately 25 minutes until light brown.
