Blueberry Honey Sauce Recipe
Blueberry sauce is one dish which you cannot resist making again and again. Fruits is the key ingredient in blueberry sauce. Blueberry sauce makes a yummy dessert. I shall look forward to your comments on this recipe.
Ingredients
2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen, unsweetened
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
2 to 3 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons cornstarch
Dash of salt
1/4 cup water
Directions
Place blueberries in the bowl of a blender.
Add lemon juice and peel.
Blend at medium speed until berries are chopped but not pureed.
Place in small saucepan and add honey.
Stir over low heat until just below boiling.
Mix cornstarch, salt, and water, and add to berries.
Cook slowly, about 7 minutes, until thick, dark, and smooth.
Cool.
Place in jar and store in refrigerator.
