Blueberry Grunt Recipe
Ingredients
| Blueberries | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 tablesp. lemon juice | ||
| Plain flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Powder | 4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 2 tablesp. Sugar | ||
| Shortening | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Put the blueberries, 1/2 cup of sugar, lemon juice and 1 cup of water into a pan and bring to boil, stirring continuously.
Boil for 3 min Sift together the flour, baking-powder and salt, add the 2 tablesp sugar.
Cut in the fat and mix with milk to make a soft dough.
Drop the dough over the boiling fruit, cover and simmer for 10 min without raising the lid.
