Blueberry Betty Recipe
Ingredients
| Blueberries | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1 | |
| Firmly packed light brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 4 cups 1/2-inch white bread cubes, without crusts | ||
| Granulated Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cream | ||
Directions
Mix berries, lemon, and sugar; spread half in shallow baking dish.
Mix bread cubes, sugar, and cinnamon and put half over berries.
Sprinkle with rest of berries and top with rest of bread cubes.
Bake in preheated moderate oven (350°F.) for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve warm with cream.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
