| Ground beef | 6 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Apples | 12 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Raisins - 6 cups, seedless | ||
| Apple cider | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ground cinnamon - 1 tablepsoons | ||
| Ground allspice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ground nutmeg | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 3 1 /2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Cook beef well, but do not brown.
2) Using medium blade, process meat and apples through food chopper.
3) Heat the pint jars.
MAKING
4) In a large kettle, combine all ingredients in large kettle.
5) Simmer the ingredients for 30 minutes.
6) In hot pint jars, pack the mincemeat at once leaving 1" head space.
7) Wipe jar rim; and put the lids.
8) Process in pressure canner at 10 pounds pressure for 75 minutes.
9) Remove jars from canner and complete seals unless closures are self-sealing type.
SERVING
10) Serve the mincemeat as side dish.
