Blue Cheese Stuffed Sirloin Steak Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 (1-pound) lean boneless beef sirloin steak | ||
| 2/3 cup light beer | ||
| Lemon juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Hot Sauce | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Blue cheese | 4 Ounce, crumbled | |
| 1 tablespoon salt-free lemon-pepper seasoning | ||
| Vegetable cooking spray | ||
Directions
Trim fat from steak.
Cut a large pocket in steak, cutting to, but not through, remaining 3 sides.
Place steak in a large shallow dish.
Combine beer, lemon juice, garlic, and hot sauce; pour over steak.
Cover and marinate in refrigerator 8 hours, turning steak occasionally.
Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade.
Place cheese in steak pocket, spreading evenly throughout pocket.
Secure opening with wooden picks.
Press lemon-pepper seasoning onto both sides of steak.
Coat grill rack with cooking spray; place on grill over medium-hot coals.
Place steak on rack, and cook 6 to 7 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness.
Transfer to a serving platter, and remove wooden picks.
