Blue Cheese Puff Ups Recipe
Blue cheese puff ups are cheese and bacon openfaced sandwiches. Made with parsley and added tomatoes for a veggie touch to it, the blue cheese puff ups are broiled to finish and really appetizing when served for brunches or supper.
Ingredients
| Package cream cheese | 1 3 Ounce | |
| Blue cheese | 2 Ounce, crumbled | |
| Light cream | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| 1/4 teaspoon onion juice | ||
| Worcestershire sauce | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Dash monosodium glutamate | ||
| Bread slice | 6 | |
| Tomatoes | 3 Small, thinly sliced | |
| Bacon Slices | 6 , cut in half | |
Directions
Soften cheeses at room temperature; blend well.
Beat in cream; add parsley, onion, and seasonings.
Toast bread on one side.
Butter untoasted side.
Place tomato slices on bread and spread with cheese mixture.
Top each slice with bacon.
Broil slowly until bacon is crisp.
