Blue Cheese Burgers Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground beef | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| 1 slightly beaten egg | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Blue cheese | 4 Ounce, crumbled | |
| Dry mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing | ||
| Worcestershire sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 4 hamburger buns, split and toasted | ||
Directions
Thoroughly mix beef, egg, salt, and pepper; divide in 8 mounds.
Flatten each to 1/2 inch patty between squares of waxed paper.
For filling, blend blue cheese with next 3 ingredients.
Top half the meat patties with blue-cheese filling (leave 1/2-inch margin for sealing).
Cover filling with remaining patties as "lids," sealing the edges well.
Broil 4 inches from heat, about 5 minutes on first side.
Turn, broil 5 minutes more or till done to your liking.
Slip patties into hot toasted buns.
