Blue Cheese And Walnut Spinach Salad With Maple Dressing Recipe
Ingredients
| Baby spinach - 1 sack (10 ounces) | ||
| Blue cheese | 1/3 pound, crumbled | |
| Walnut halves | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Maple syrup | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), warmed | |
| Cider vinegar | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Extra-virgin olive oil - 1/4 cup | ||
| Ground black pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1. On a large platter and place spinach top with blue cheese and walnuts.
2. In a small saucepan warm maple syrup.
3. Into a small bowl pour vinegar.
4. Into vinegar whisk oil in a slow stream and whisk in maple syrup slowly.
SERVING
5. To serve, pour dressing over the salad and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
