Ingredients
12 large steamed cabbage leaves
1 cup (240 ml) Blue Cornmeal
1/2 cup (120 ml) chopped green onions
1/2 cup (120 ml) corn
1/4 tsp (1 ml) powdered garlic
1/4 tsp (1 ml) dried thyme
1/4 tsp (1 ml) dried oregano
1 cup (240 ml) unseasoned tomato sauce
2 cups (480 ml) water
1 cup (240 ml) grated cheese
Directions
While steaming cabbage leaves, mix remaining ingredients except cheese in saucepan and stir with a wire whisk over medium heat until mixture is very thick.
Be cautious to keep mixture stirred thoroughly.
Roll 1 tbs mixture into each cabbage leaf.
Place in baking dish and cover with cheese.
Bake for 10 minutes at 300°F (150°C).
